Description
The UBA Equity Fund is authorized and registered in Nigeria as a Unit Trust Scheme under Section 125 of the Investment Securities Act (ISA). The Fund invests primarily in stocks or quoted equities on the Nigerian Stock Exchange. It invests in a variety of “blue chip” companies and industries with strong fundamentals which offer the potential for accelerated earnings growth. It also holds small proportions of fixed income or other types of securities to ensure liquidity at all times.

Objective
The Fund’s objective is to provide investors with income as well as an attractive total return (dividends and capital gains) in the medium-term to long-term.

Date of Registration
The Fund was registered with the Securities & Exchange Commission (SEC) in September 2006 and listed on the Nigerian Stock Exchange (NSE) on Memorandum basis in December 2006.
